Timeplan

Below is a screenshot of my time plan that i created to allow me to sort my time efficiently and well organised to get the best of the time that i have in order to do my coursework. I have used icalendar on my computer because it then allowed me to sync it to my iphone so i could look at what i had to do anywhere.

Problems

I have had many issues with my title sequence due to permission and new ideas. I have finally thought of an idea which would be good to do as well as possible to achieve in the short space of time. I will have to find new actors because the actors I listed before were only available from Monday (27th) onwards which will be too late for me. I want to film on Saturday and to do this I will need to find a new actor. On the next few posts I will be uploading my new shot list as well as a story board and a table of planning. 

Permission

I have received an email from the train company telling me I CANT use the train station to film. Therefore i have to find a new place to film my existing  idea or think of a new idea all together.

HD camera

On Tuesday i got to have a go with the new collage cameras. They are in HD which will make our title sequence look so much better and more professional. I really enjoyed using them as they are very professional and effective. I noticed that the sound on this camera is a lot better because you can actually listen to what sound is being picked up which makes you think more about the area and the ambient sounds. The new cameras allow me to do a focus pull on the camera rather than editing it in and also let me change the lens so i can fit it with a lens that gets my whole area in (wide lens). These cameras are a lot of fun and will benefit me greatly. 

location

I sent an email to the Malvern council asking them for their permission do use the Malvern link train station. They then replied asking me to contact another person who was in charge of the trains at the location. They also sent me a link with all the rules and regulations that i had to abide by. When reading these i noticed i was not allowed any time of lighting. Realizing this i think it would be difficult to film at night time without a small amount of lighting to make it visible to the audience. As i got further down the email i also noticed that they would expect a pay for me to film there of £1000. I then decided if they wanted me to pay it would be better for me to go else where as i do not have that kind of money. Therefore i need to decide on a new idea very soon as my filming deadline is approaching fast. 

Filming

I have planned to start filming on Tuesday night. With Tuesday night to do any pick ups that i may need. Despite this cutting it a bit fine this is the only days that my actors and reserve actors can make.I will have to make sure i stay focused and get all the shots i want or even possible shots as my final deadline is approaching.
