What i like from the anaylis

When doing both analysis of the changeling and the shining i came across some techniques that i really liked.
In the changeling i really liked how their was short clip at the start which introduced the titles and made it flow a lot better. When creating my own i will consider this as i think its very effective and can make the sequence fit better. 
While watching the Shining i liked the music as it created tension. When doing my own i will consider how to make tension in my own way.
